If you find yourself asking the mirror on the wall who’s the fairest of them all, then this is the fruit for you!
APPEARANCE Rating: ★★★★★

Looks like a perfect little bright red cherry, light brown flesh

AROMA Rating: ★★★★☆

Sweet and spicy like cinnamon

TEXTURE Rating: ★½☆☆☆

Somehow both firm and mushy

TASTE Rating: ★★☆☆☆

Quite sour, with some bitterness

OVERALL Overall Rating: ★★★☆☆

This is by far the most adorable little apple I have ever seen in my life. I want this in a bowl on the counter, to decorate the top of apple cakes, to whip out of my purse at parties…you get the idea. As for eating — it is too tart, with too much core for its petite size and the brown flesh is just off putting. This could be a great, ornery little apple to give out at Halloween if there wasn’t that whole razor-blades-in-apples thing to worry about and if you didn’t care that neighborhood kids hate you.

NOTES

To be fair, crab apples generally aren’t eaten raw but I did not know this when I bit into it. Buyer beware. How can something that ridiculously cute not be snack worthy? I can not wrap my brain around this.
