Firm but not particularly crunchy, medium juice
TASTE
Extremely mellow with the slightest sweet flavor – so mild that it is bordering on watery and bland
OVERALL
This is an ok apple I guess. It isn’t offensive in any way, but that isn’t really an endorsement. If for some reason you don’t like apples and yet you feel you should eat them for health reasons or something, then I guess this would be a good one because it is all texture and very little flavor. At least its better than the Golden Delicious but that isn’t saying much.

The Ben Davis is rare in commercial trade and I can see why. Borrrrring. Its probably good for baking though.
